About savED

savED is an international charitable foundation that restores access to education in Ukrainian communities that suffered from the russian war against Ukraine. In Ukraine during five months of a full-scale war 286 educational establishments were destroyed and 2300 were damaged. This means that several hundred thousand students have no place to start a new academic year at. We want to change it and to make schools a place where every child and teacher feels safe and where they want to come every morning. Our team, led by the former Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Anna Novosad, has set the goal to do everything possible to restore children's right to education. Because no schools means no children. And no children means no future. Our primary goal is to raise $80,000,000 for the restoration of schools in Chernihiv, which was one of the first to bear the brunt of the attack on Kyiv and where 25 of the 34 schools are significantly damaged and 2 are completely destroyed.
