SBG Bury aka Bury Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a Mixed Martial Arts club based in Ramsbottom, Bury. Founded by 3rd degree BJJ Black Belt Glyn Powditch who trained and graduated black belt under Karl Tanswell, founder of SBG UK. Glyn has nearly 20 years of BJJ and MMA experience, beginning with former Cage Warriors Champion Danny Batten. Glyn has continued to train with the elite within BJJ and Mixed Martial Arts additionally Matt Thornton, John Frankl, Rickson Gracie, Matt Inman, Casey Jones, Dave Camarillo, John Kavanagh, Rory & Adam Singer, Stephen Whittier, Roberto Traven, Patrick Bittan, Chris Conolley, and many more. Glyn regularly coaches at SBG Camps in the US, Ireland and UK at some of the world's leading MMA gyms.
