As a UCSC student organization, SCEE cares deeply about the diverse community on campus. We firmly believe in the power of innovation and creativity - and how they can help every student to find their true passion and reach their max potential. We have the most connected platform that allows UCSC students to access different resources and support on and off campus (mentorship, accelerators, network, events, opportunities to showcase their ideas and relationship with companies). Our programs include: 1, Just want to make friends and explore the opportunities in the Bay Area? Keep an eye out on our field trips to Google, Amazon, Uber and more great companies in the area! 2, Monthly mixers with food and beverage provided. Chat with your fellow students and share the problems you want to solve and the great ideas you have. 3, SCEE provide the biggest network on and off UCSC campus. Let us know about your ideas and we’ll get you connected to the right programs, companies, mentors, and funds! 4, Find your partner and co-founder in our monthly network events. 5, With our monthly speaker workshops, we provide highly valuable materials and connections for you. 6, Design theory applied to your life, our “life design” seminar will help you to identify your passion! 7, Participate in Slug Tank (pitching competition)and win up to $3000 to materialize your ideas! 8, Sponsored by CIED (Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development) 9, Partnership with startup accelerators, we can help you to find a workspace to build your next successful venture! 10, Engineers and techies, your ideas will now extend beyond hackathons. We work closely with Cruz Hacks to select the best teams and ideas, then we’ll help you to get funded. 11, Want to help the community and make a positive impact on society?
