I base my work on the principles of professionalism, quality, and originality of your images. Schaffer Photography was started in 2008 and is based in Roanoke, VA. I mark the official start of my business in 2009 because that is when I got by business license, but I have been a photographer for much longer than that. I have taken formal photography classes in college and have been an avid photographer since high school. I have always loved how photography can reveal something amazing in the seemingly ordinary. I love how black and white portraits have a way of bringing emotion and depth into a picture that is unrivaled by color photographs. I love how a photograph can forever keep alive moments in time with just a simple snapshot. It is my passion for photography that led me to start my business. And though it can be busy at times, I love every minute of it!
