School for International Training celebrates 60 years of educating global citizens through experiential international education. Employing an immersive approach through our graduate and study abroad programs, students step beyond the boundaries of a traditional classroom to analyze the critical global issues impacting communities around the world. SIT Graduate Institute offers full-time global master’s degrees, part-time online doctoral degrees, and certificates in formats that fit the needs of professionals working to address the world’s most critical global issues. SIT Study Abroad offers accredited field-based semester and summer programs for undergraduate students. Students can choose from over 60 programs across Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East and North Africa, as well as comparative International Honors Programs that take place across multiple countries. SIT Graduate Institute prepares students from across the globe to be effective leaders, professionals, and citizens. SIT’s graduate and professional development programs are rooted in the experiential education model, where learning occurs at the nexus of theory and practice. Students are trained to become highly skilled practitioners who have a commanding knowledge of the theoretical basis of their profession; experience in the field; and an awareness of their own capabilities, values, and ethics.
