About Schulich Ignite

Schulich Ignite is a student-led mentorship program based at the University of Calgary. Our goal is to teach high school students and beginners the basics of programming and introduce them into the world of computer science and software engineering. Our workshops introduce students to Python in a fun and interactive environment. Mentors are available to students to explain key concepts, provide general guidance, and assist their mentees with any other questions they might have! Sessions are generally run in an 8 week format consisting of one hour and a half long sessions once a week.
