Science & Sensors Technologies, S&ST, is a sole proprietorship formally established in January 2006 by Dr. Claudio Oliveira Egalon. S&ST develops and manufactures waveguides, optical fibers and photonics crystal fiber sensors for the security, aerospace, educational, agriculture, construction and environmental markets. Our patented technology delivers multi point sensing capability at a very low cost. Using a single light detector and low cost LED sources, we demonstrated 20 cm long fibers that can accommodate at least 40 sensing points spaced by 5 mm. S&ST has also successfully networked multiple of these devices and used water samples at the micro fluidics level! This is a concept that has been maturing for the past 20 years and only recently became commercially viable. We have patents issued and pending in the US, Europe, Japan, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and Brazil.
