Our Pb solder spheres, which can be produced as small as .003” DIA, typically at tolerances of +/- .001,” are used in a wide variety of cryogenic applications where materials of high thermal inertia are required to create and maintain ultra high vacuum environments. This Pb based packing media is used to manufacture and repair cryopumps, cryocoolers, displacers, and GM cryorefrigerators among others.
