About SCOOP, The Sustainable Cooperative

We are an experimental cooperative focused on supporting sustainable (agro-ecological) food systems. At our main location we have a shop with 700 zero-waste products, an up cycling packaging system, a production kitchen and a regenerative chicken farm. We are support by 35 local organic producers and 9 farmers. We are not for profit and have 350 cooperative members. We follow holistic regenerative principles, we see ourselves as a "developmental" organisation, we use the circular economy method to design our waste streams, we are a living wage member, member of Good Market Global and Better Food Traders. We incorporated in 2018 following a crowd funding campaign. We have recently launched a research and development team support the right strategy to further our agenda. We have the most amazing team working within the farm shop setting.
