Score-A-Bed is a socially-conscious platform that allows clients of accommodation providers, such as hotels, holiday homes and B&Bs to rate the comfort of the beds they offer. It is designed to aid travellers who value a good night’s sleep to be better empowered to make well-informed decisions when booking a room. Score-A-Bed creates a global online community for sharing information about the comfort and quality of sleep. What unites us with those customers is our mission to embrace the power of a good night’s sleep and point individuals in the direction of one. We value the mental and physical well-being that comes along with a consistent sleep pattern, and the research is only just starting to make clear the catastrophic consequences of poor sleep. Our goal is to give accommodation providers and bedding manufacturers pure, honest feedback that can inform their improvement process and give instant access to those using their products or services. At the core of our organisation is the Score-A-Bed Foundation, which is working to tackle bed poverty and homelessness in the UK. Unfortunately, the people who suffer most from a poor night’s sleep are often the poorest in society. If they cannot put a roof over their head or buy a mattress and bedding, how they can they expect to get a good night’s sleep? This is why 10% of our revenue goes towards supplying beds and bedding where it’s so desperately needed. This ongoing revenue stream for the Foundation will also help charities dealing with homelessness and bed poverty.
