Specializing in music events, promotion, and artist management and booking. Like most kids, I had at least a fleeting interest in learning an instrument as a youngster, so I picked up the guitar for a couple of years. I never really got serious about it, though, and certainly never had dreams of running off with a rock 'n roll band and making it big. Perhaps I'm living life in reverse, because now that I've gotten a little bit older (not too much, mind you) I've jumped in wholeheartedly into music. It started with a series of coincidences during 2005 when I rediscovered one my favorite bands, the subdudes. Over the course of that year, I got to know the band and ended up being asked to work with them by running the band's webpage and generally doing whatever needed done. It was here that I learned the ins and outs of touring, artist management, booking, promotions, live sound and recording, and everything associated with the enterprise of doing business with bands. After a successful run with the subdudes, I started becoming interested in artist management and event production. After several very successful events ranging from fundraising concerts to working on a gig for a feature-length documentary (including promotion and live sound production and recording for the film), I've decided to venture out into the world that was parlayed quite wonderfully by Hunter Thompson. And, yes, I've picked up the guitar again and have even been writing my own stuff the past few years.
