About Scott Preston & Associates
A veteran of both the United States Air Force and United States Marine Corps., Scott is also a 33-year veteran of the Southern California Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance industries and has been in business since 1989. For the past nine years Scott has been a well known and respected Coach, Trainer and Manager and has trained thousands of agents throughout California. I started formally coaching and training Realtors at Keller Williams and was so successful that I was invited to become a Branch Manager for First Team Real Estate, who was the #1 independent real estate company in Southern California at the time. An expert negotiator known for unique and “out-of-the-box” strategies, Scott’s superior knowledge & ability to leverage the contracts, transaction mechanics and mortgage financing instruments all combine-together to make up his winning marketing, sales and negotiation strategies he regularly uses…and has taught others to use. Prior to joining EXP as the Team leader of Scott Preston & Associates, Scott was the General Manager of a start-up real estate brokerage & mortgage company with agents throughout California. I started that brokerage with one agent…me, and in less than two years’ time grew it to 177 Realtors and 63 Loan Officers. Always an advocate for having better trained, more professional agents, Scott currently sits on the Professional Standards Committee at the Orange County Realtors Association and has been an active member of this committee for the past seven years. An avid horseman, in his time off Scott likes to travel the U.S and regularly rides in the San Juan Capistrano and Rancho Carrillo areas as well as parts of Arizona.
