About Scouting America, Bay-Lakes Council
The Mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. SCOUT OATH On my honor I will do my best To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight. SCOUT LAW A Scout is: Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, Reverent. Bay-Lakes Council is one of the largest Scout Councils in the Midwest. We provide programs and services to over 13,000 youth in 36 counties from Eastern Wisconsin to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We have over 170 Cub Scout Packs, 200 Scouts BSA Troops, 20 Venture Crews, and 10 Explorer Posts.
