About SCRAP Creative Reuse
Founded in 1999, SCRAP Creative Reuse is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission to inspire creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community. SCRAP Creative Reuse Centers make up a network of nonprofit reuse art and craft supply storefronts serving four local communities; SCRAP PDX in Portland Oregon, SCRAP BMORE in Baltimore Maryland, SCRAP RVA in Richmond Virginia, and SCRAP A2 in Ann Arbor Michigan. We take donations of clean, reusable art and craft supplies and make them available to the communities at a low cost. We have lively, hands-on reuse education programs for kids, workshops for adults, and skill-building for all ages. We are proud to link arms with the other creative reuse centers all over the world to strengthen reuse resources everywhere.
