Screen IT is a software deveolpment company creating mobile and web aplications. We've created brand new Retail Smart Viewer - the product comparator that works as a sort of virtual assistant and helps customers to find and choose a product which fits them the best. How does it work? While in a store, what customers have to do is to take two different products they want to compare and hold them against the built-in display on the shelf. The system will automatically read the barcodes (or detect RFID, or e-beacons) of both products and show the most important product information on the display. Customers receive valuable information such as the product actual price, ingredients, product use and methods of application, possible allergens or any relevant information. In addition to the two products compared by the customer, the app shows a third one promoted by the store or recommended for the customer. In addition to the two products chosen by the customer to being compared, the system may present the third recommended or a promoted product.
