ScreenCraft is more than a screenwriting competition — we are career launchers that champion merit and collaborative development above all else. Through years of experience, we've cultivated a rich understanding of the film industry and identified which tools and resources will best serve writers in honing their skills and breaking into Hollywood. We believe in making the career development process more transparent for writers, beginning with a clear path for them to reach their goals – that means hands-on career support for alumni and developmental training for those still refining their craft. Because we have real connections to top Hollywood executives, our writers have genuine, meaningful opportunities to get discovered by major networks, while the genre-specific competition structure allows them to better focus their efforts on stories they are most passionate about. We choose writers because we believe in their talent. As such, the higher-placing writers receive higher-touch attention, including dedicated time with our writer development team for career consultations, meeting setups, and pitch coaching sessions, among other offerings.
