With over 25 years international experience multi award winning Alex Scrymgeour (Scrimmy) and Scrimmy Media produces television, short films and films. Scrimmy produced and starred in the award winning short film Whoa: The Influence of Art in Toronto, Canada. In October 2013 Scrimmy co-starred in Renko, an action adventure horror film shot in Madrid, Spain starring Carlos Bardem. In 2017 Scrimmy created, wrote, executive produced, directed and hosted the world’s first global pizza travel show: Pizza Perfect in Rome, Italy. In 2018 Scrimmy was Executive Producer, creator and writer of the award winning television show Eddie’s in Los Angeles, California. Eddie's is a feel good, single camera dramedy series starring Eddie McGee (CBS’s NCIS: Los Angeles, Amazon’s The Hunt, Fox's 911), George Wendt (Cheers - CBS Distribution), Nikki SooHoo (Paramount’s Heathers), and Jacob Zachar (ABC Family’s Greek). The show is directed and executive produced by Michael Lange (X-Files, Larry Sanders Show, Bones, Criminal Minds and Charmed revival). In October, 2018 Eddie’s successfully screened at The Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood to an enthusiastic audience of over 300 people and was received exceptionally well. Eddie’s then went on to win Best Television Pilot at the California Film Awards 2019 and screened at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival and the Irvine International Film Festival to packed sold out audiences. Eddie's also won a gold Remi Award at Worldfest Houston 2019, received special mention at the London Worldwide Comedy Short Film Festival 2019, screened and was nominated for best pilot in June, 2019 at the SOHO International Film Festival and won best pilot after screening on July 13, 2019 at the 22nd annual Long Island International Film Expo. Eddie's also screened in August 2019 at the Madrid International Film Festival.
