Aubrey M. Horton (MFA, UCLA film school) has had five development deals, and he's consulted on projects for Warner Brothers, Paramount, and HBO. For the Directors Guild of America, Horton edited five books on Hollywood's Golden Age. The Colorado Council on the Arts and Humanities awarded him a prestigious writing fellowship. If you check out his "success stories," you'll discover that Horton has doctored scripts for five screenwriters who've won national competitions. In 1999, a screenwriter (who has had several scripts doctored by Horton) wrote a project which won a Golden Globe nomination. In "Creative Screenwriting" magazine -- Jim Shea rated Horton as a "highly recommended" script doctor, i.e., placing him in the top 8 nationally.
