About SCU Fashion Club

Promoting sustainable fashion through events, student designers, and community education initiatives. Why fashion? Fashion to us is a way to express ourselves - this is the one core truth that each of our members agrees upon. Yet, we know we can't have fashion without being intentional about our purchasing decisions and what we wear. Hence, our fashion club was born. Since we started this club last year, we have decided to continue spreading this mission: we strive to live a more sustainable lifestyle. We believe one's best style lies at the intersection of sustainability and authenticity. This is where you come in - as a new club, we lack the funds to carry out this mission through events like thrift trips, upcycling workshops, fashion shows, and more. We plan to one day have a fashion magazine and sustainable clothing brand to promote our club and spread our message.
