Established in 2007, SDL’s expertise extends to various facets of the industry, including site clearance projects, forestry and harvesting operations, machinery hire services, and undertaking nationwide wood pellet production, and supply. As part of their ongoing commitment to innovation and diversification, they have recently introduced sawmill production to their array of services. True to their roots, SDL still offers forestry and site clearance services, including machinery hire as well as conducting bespoke forestry/ clearance projects on small and large scales. With some of the most state-of-the-art machinery in the industry, supported by an ever-expanding fleet of 44-tonne articulated lorries, SDL Solutions provides an unrivalled and comprehensive service. In addition to this, SDL have designed and installed on-site two purpose-built cutting-edge biomass production and drying facilities which cater for all types of biomass systems. The latest project, an additional large-scale CHP system for the production of 100% UK-sourced premium wood pellets, is one of the first of its kind in the UK.
