(English below) 🇮🇹Sea Way APS è un’associazione che nasce dalla presa di coscienza del problema dello skill mismatch, ovvero la divergenza tra le informazioni acquisite durante un ordinario percorso di studi e le competenze richieste dalle imprese. Le conseguenze di tale problema sono apprezzabili in termini di tempo e denaro che le imprese devono impiegare per formare i neoassunti. Muovendo da questo presupposto, Sea Way fornisce un concreto aiuto ai giovani laureati che vogliono lavorare nel settore “Blue Economy”, assicurandosi che questi abbiano le competenze richieste dalle imprese del settore, di tal modo, garantendo un vantaggio competitivo in sede di colloquio. Nel nostro piano d’azione, i vertici sono l’Università degli Studi di Genova, le imprese operanti nel settore marittimo, e le società che impartiscono corsi di formazione. In questo triangolo, Sea Way si pone all’esatto centro. 🇺🇸Sea Way APS is an association that was born from the recognition of the “skill mismatch” issue, that is the difference between what students learn during their studies and what companies require them to do. As a consequence, such companies have to invest time and money in training new hires. From this assumption, Sea Way provides a concrete aid to young graduates who want to work in the “Blue Economy”, having care that they have the skills that companies require and, by doing that, guaranteeing a plus during job interviews. Our roadmap develops between Università degli Studi di Genova, the companies operating in the maritime field, and companies that provide training courses. Within this triangle, Sea Way put itself in the very middle.
