About Search for Change
About Us: Search for Change, a nonprofit organization, has been a pioneer in the mental health community for more than 40 years with a reputation for providing quality rehabilitative services to individuals with mental illness. Our Mission Statement: Search for Change is dedicated to improving the quality of life and increasing the self-sufficiency of individuals with emotional, social, and economic barriers throughout Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York. We teach the skills needed to choose, obtain and maintain desirable housing, meaningful employment, higher education, and productive relationships with family and friends. Our programs and services are focused on individual choices, needs, interests, and abilities. Dedicated staff is available twenty-four hours a day, three hundred sixty-five days a year to provide support and care to the individuals we serve and their families. Our Vision: Search for Change will strengthen and expand its position as a leader in providing community-based services that are desired by individuals and their families and which meet the objectives of our clients, their treatment providers, our funders and financial sponsors, and the community at large.
