Seascape Capital is a note buyer of real estate notes and business notes. In real estate notes (aka mortgage notes or deed of trust notes), Seascape buys notes on nearly any type of property and in all of the 50 states. Offer amounts are based on the property type, amount of equity in the property, payer credit, and other risk factors. As a business note buyer, we are generally looking at businesses that were sold using owner financing and in which the real estate plays a small or no part. Seascape also offers commercial factoring and medical factoring for small and medium sized businesses that are growing faster than their cash flow can keep up. The two types of factoring are similar in many ways, though medical factoring is a specialized area for healthcare companies that are billing out to 3rd party insurance companies or government entities like Medicare and Medicaid.
