secure-transmit is a data/file transfer service requiring no client-side infrastructure, no continuing account, and no subscription. Unlike DropBox, Google Drive, or any of the other file collaboration/sharing providers, a transmission with secure-transmit is a transaction - not a relationship. Because we aren't a file sharing or collaboration solution, you can use us when you need us. Neither you or your IT department needs to do anything because we don't use accounts so no account administration is needed. It is a transfer so you don't need to manage access controls or do any security administration to your folders or servers or network. We don't install anything on your PC so you don't have to do any updates or security administration from scans. Instead of email, when you want to transmit files of any size (including CAD designs or videos), you can use secure-transmit without requiring any security administration to your folder, drive, or network. If you want to send files that contain your sensitive data (like your Social Security number), healthcare data, or proprietary intellectual property or pricing information, and email or its encryption offering doesn't feel right, secure-transmit helps you feel confident that only the person or persons that you want to get that information - gets that information. We have several layers of multi-factor authentication (MFA) that are possible. MFA can be based on email, phone, public key, or a self-created password - or any combination of these. In addition, all data is encrypted and your unencrypted files never reside in any file system on any server. All transmissions are extensively logged - but that logged information is only accessible to you. secure-transmit has no access to your data - without keys known only to you - because 'your business is none of our business'.
