Securitas hf was founded in the year 1979, pioneering the fields of security and guarding services, and has ever since been by far the leading company in its fields of operation in the Icelandic market. The company offers a wide range of security services channeled through three busness units; Manned Security, Alarm Monitoring and Technical department all sharing a mutual office and overhead. Securitas hf has strived to offer only state of the art services and total solutions in its field of operation. Total number of employees is approximately 400, out of which around 60 are technicians and 25 occupy the sales team. Top management personnel have been with the company for up to 30 years. The Technical Department sells, installs, inspects and maintains various types of security systems, offering its customers emergency services around the clock.
