About Seed to Self
Seed to Self is a non-registered charitable organisation creating sustainable change in the textile and fashion industry by encouraging responsible practices through self-enquiry, education, leadership and creative programmes. Our goal is to create a profound systemic change that begins with consciousness as a foundation to foster sustainability. We do this through our three projects: • Seed to Self Matatika, a fashion design institute programme for fashion design students who are committed to responsible fashion processes and incorporate these processes into their designs. • Seed to Self Journeys, an unforgettable and unique journey to the birthplace of the fabrics for the aspiring and established textile and fashion professionals. • Dyeing to Know (DTK), an educational programme for curious young students to explore behind the labels of the clothes they wear.
