About Seeding Change: A Center for Asian American Movement Building
Seeding Change is a national organization dedicated to promoting a just, sustainable, and democratic society by building Asian American grassroots power. Through political education and leadership development, it creates a pipeline for future organizers, establishes infrastructure for grassroots organizing, and scales efforts toward broader social and economic justice. Since its launch in 2014, Seeding Change has drawn on over 40 years of collective grassroots organizing experience within working-class, immigrant, and LGBTQIA+ communities. Its key programs include the national Seeding Change Fellowship, the Asian American Peer Coaching Circle, and the Seeding Change Alumni Network (SCAN). As the only national network focused on developing Asian American organizers, Seeding Change empowers emerging leaders, fosters collaboration among organizations, and strengthens collective strategies for change. With 200+ program alumni, this dynamic network is making an impact across social sectors, grounded in a political vision of justice and equity.
