About SeedsJC
SEEDS is a non-profit organization, founded and run by a diverse group of young and talented Jersey City natives. Jersey City is filled with farmers' markets, real estate development, and an endless supply of resources and assistance, benefiting the communities in which resources are already plentiful. Our communities need access to such resources. Our communities' needs’ for assistance is what motivates SEEDS to be the facilitators of change. SEEDS’ mission is to provide the community that raised us with the resources it so desperately needs. We hope to encourage others to do the same and continue to aid our people. We run several initiatives, including Community Park Cleanups, Employment workshops, mentoring, food drives, and civic engagement. We hope to inspire real change and contribute to positive growth in our city.
