About Selenos

Selenos brings a skilled multidisciplinary team approach to supporting children in the care of the local authority. Our compassionate relational approach and clinical expertise supports children to understand themselves and empowers them to develop their potential. We specialise in working collaboratively to ensure the network of professionals around the child, (teachers, social workers, foster carers) feel confident to recognise the needs of the child they care for, and capable of fulfilling those needs well. We provide comprehensive assessments of children's emotional, psychological and learning needs and have the resources to provide direct interventions such as speech and language therapy, psychotherapy, play therapy, sensory integration and psychology. We share the knowledge we gain with the adults who are significant to that child and want to learn how to make things better for them through regular meetings, formal and informal support sessions, and written reports. We can also offer formal training about children's mental and emotional health to schools, foster carers, parents, and local authorities. We're friendly experts who make a difference.
