About Semitic Languages Institute
SLI is an Arabic and Hebrew language school. It offers both online and on-site courses. The Institute’s primary purpose is spreading and sharing the experience and expertise of Dr. Halloun in teaching Spoken Arabic, Modern Standard Arabic, and Modern Hebrew, by providing courses that are based on his methodologies and curriculums, developed and improved over the time span of four decades. The target audiences of these courses are language enthusiasts, journalists, diplomats, NGOs and private sector companies. The Institute’s tutors can teach these courses in one-on-one set up, or in classes. The sessions are either online, on The Institute's premises, your organization's premises, or in the comfort of your own home. The Institute supplies a wide variety of teaching materials, such as textbooks, dictionaries, lexicons, audios, and video tutorials. These teaching materials are developed and constantly improved upon by our research and development department that mainly focuses on Arabic grammar, innovations in modern Arabic, and Etymological studies. As Educational Consultants, we offer the following services: - Analyzing existing curricula, admin processes, and teaching resources and methods in your institution. Our solutions extend further than detailed written reports; it includes methodology courses targeting the efficiency and output of your institution. - Improving your recruitment process by developing assessments which will draw a clear picture of your candidates' linguistic skills. These language proficiency assessments services are offered to any organization, such as governmental institutions, private companies, and non-profit organizations. The Institute offers translation services: - Modern documents translation from English and Hebrew into Arabic. - Semitic Archaeological Inscriptions in Arabic, Hebrew, Syriac, Akkadian, Sabaean, Thamudic, and Safaitic.
