SEND unlocked - A New Charity - Driven and passionate to make a difference to SEND families. 22% of the UK population has a disability. At SEND unlocked we will deliver a resource which will support equity of access to services, providing necessary information, advice and guidance at scale and available 24/7. We will provide families with the information they need throughout their lives. Helping them stay up to date with support services both locally and nationally. We’re going to map the application processes, interview professionals and specialists across areas such as education, health and social care. A complete directory of support, with step by step process guides on how to access it and what your rights are. Importantly we also want to give you, the user, a voice. For too long people have felt powerless to help themselves and their families and we believe it’s time to take control, to make services transparent and accountable.
