Senior Medical Associates is a group of primary care physicians with 10 full service medical centers throughout Broward County. The group dedicates its attention to patients over 65 years of age, allowing for the full focus on the needs of seniors. Our team of experienced physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants and staff are all dedicated to providing Compassionate and Caring Personalized Primary Care. Personalized Primary Care means a lot to the staff and doctors at Senior Medical Associates. Each patient is treated as an individual. A friendly staff member answers your calls, never a machine. You are welcomed with a smile, offered a seat, refreshment and healthy snack in a spacious waiting area. You are walked to clean on site lab or exam room by a skilled medical assistant. A doctor sits with you, learns about you, your family and your way of life, and together you develop a wellness plan. “We are partners in achieving optimal health and believe that most people have the capacity to live long and healthy lives with vigor and vitality,” says Dr. Mohsin Jaffer, lead physician at Senior Medical Associates. “We want our patients to be comfortable. We treat them like family,” says Dr. Noel Mora. Patients rave about the opportunity they had to meet with a doctor prior to becoming a patient. “Complimentary Meet and Greet visits are an invaluable opportunity for prospective patients to meet with our team and tour the medical center of their choice,” says Dr. Sondra Aiken. We often host events on site and in the senior community. “I’ve enjoyed painting with patients, participating in yoga classes and offering medical insights through lunch and learns. Events are a great way to interact with seniors and encourage them to be the captain of their ship,” says Dr. Adriana Velasquez.
