About Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs
Founded in 2004, Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs (Senses Center) is a non-profit organization based in Dubai, UAE and the first residential care facility in the Middle East, dedicated to improving the quality of life of orphans and abandoned children with special needs. Senses Center provides specialized programs that combine Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Functional Therapy, Vocational, Daily Life Skills, Sensory Integration Therapy and Educational Programs for the children between the ages of three to nineteen. We cater to the needs of mild to severe Autism, Mental Disorders, Physical Disabilities/ Cerebral Palsy and Down syndrome. In 2010, with the generous personal contribution from H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the purpose-built daycare center and residential care facility was gifted to Senses to cater the growing demand of our services.
