About Senterstone Kennels and English Setters
I have been an all breed dog groomer for more than 20 years. During that time I have worked for several large boarding facilities and grooming chains. What I saw at those places made me sad. Dogs being locked in cages for 90% of the their stay, no beds or blankets...no love or comfort, Constant barking and aggression...and ultimately fear. Grooming dogs being turned out as quick as possible...no time to build a bond or go slow with fearful or older dogs. That’s why I started SenterStone Kennels. We offer-cage free boarding, daycare and grooming. We have 2 rooms, one for large, active dogs and one for smaller and quieter dogs. They have couches, mattresses and a TV. Grooming appointments are scheduled several hours apart so there is plenty of time build up trust between groomer and dog before the actual work begins. We want dogs to feel happy, safe and loved.
