About Sentinel Research Society

The Sentinel Research Society is a student-led national security think tank based in Washington, D.C., rooted in the belief that informed research can shape the future of global security. Our mission is to elevate serious, nonpartisan research on counterintelligence, foreign influence, strategic competition, and defense policy—connecting academic insight to real-world action. We publish the Sentinel Journal (peer-reviewed) and the Sentinel Review (Substack) to bring fresh, rigorous, and policy-relevant ideas into the national security conversation. Our team includes graduate and undergraduate researchers who work alongside seasoned professionals to produce impactful research, national security analysis, and strategic communications. SRS is also home to the Common Ground podcast, a bipartisan conversation series where emerging leaders, experts, and practitioners discuss the threats that unify us all.
