Seralogix, LLC is a veteran owned small business in Austin, TX that provides bioinformatics and research services. Seralogix has developed innovative bioinformatics tools that have been used both for diagnostics and biological mechanism discoveries. Seralogix was founded in 2002 by Dr. Kenneth Drake to develop software and services to serve the emerging bioinformatics market driven largely by gene/protein microarray technologies (now next generation sequencing) mass spec and other high throughput platforms. Significant funding from the National Institutes of Health (NHGRI, NIAID, USDA, EPA, and private organizations) enabled the development of a systems biological computational platform and other tools we offer as products/services. Our core services/software business has focused on new computational methods, experimental designs, analytics, and knowledgebases for research on genomic and proteomic mechanisms and pathways for a broad range of diseases of high public health concern. Seralogix is a multidisciplinary organization with core competencies in biomedical engineering, microbiology, biostatistics, software development, bioanalytics, and animal and human clinical studies. Our main focus is to fill an unmet need for computational tools to accommodate the complexity of experimental data from a variety of study types.
