Serco provides leisure services on behalf of community leisure trusts, local authorities, universities, and sporting associations such as Sport England. Our facilities include national sports complexes, outdoor activity venues, community leisure centres, gyms, swimming pools, water sports, tennis courts, golf courses, and conference centres. Our ultimate goal is to help people of all abilities and ages to maintain and improve their fitness levels. We do this by providing affordable access to a wide range of market leading sports and leisure facilities to support healthier and happier individuals across all segments of society. We do this by providing safe, welcoming spaces for people to enjoy their leisure time Through jointly funded investment programmes, we provide a comprehensive range of market leading fitness, sporting, well-being, and community focused services within the budgetary restraints of our customers. The range and quality of services we provide to the public are comparable to those of a private sector facility, but offered at an affordable price making them accessible to the wider community. We promote participation and engagement initiatives in all the communities we serve, empowering local people to take ownership of their facilities. Our track record shows a significant return on investment through increased participation, which enables us to protect the long-term future of important community facilities. We pride ourselves on being passionate about reducing the impact that our facilities have on the environment and as such have a great track record of reducing energy consumption in all our sites.
