At Serenity Gardens, we believe in the power of horticulture as a metaphor for life's struggles and transitions. Our programs are structured around three stages of recovery and healing, each symbolized by a different aspect of gardening: Stage One – Safety and Stabilization (Plant the Seed): In this initial stage, our focus is on establishing safety and fostering a sense of belonging. We want you to understand that you are not alone, and this garden is a safe space for your journey. Stage Two – Remembrance and Mourning (Water the Ground): This stage centers on goals and task completion. Just as a young plant must push through the soil and darkness to reach the sunlight, you'll face life's challenges head-on. Stage Three – Reintegrate (Extend your Roots): This final stage is about developing the desire and initiative to move forward. Like a plant extending its roots to firmly anchor itself, you'll extend your roots into a new chapter of your life.
