Her grandmother - a passionate herbalist, taught her secrets of herbs and formulas since she was a little girl, growing up in the Caucasus, near the Black Sea. The formulas are derived from ancient recipes created by and for Circassian women. For centuries women of Circassia were considered the most beautiful women of the world, known for their soft, pure skin and beautiful hair. They were often sought after and captured for Sultan’s harems, and royalty across Europe. Poet Lord Byron, and philosophers Voltaire were among those, who praised their beauty. The core philosophy, developed from the beginning, is remaining true to the original concepts, and that means using only natural ingredients, and preserving with only natural preservatives. When the formulas were invented centuries ago, synthetic preservatives did not exist.
