About Service Design and Innovation - POLI.design
The "Service Design and Innovation" cluster stems from the decade-long experience of the course in Service Design for Business, organized by POLI.design since 2014, to respond to the training needs of professionals to integrate service design skills into their knowledge, methods, and tools. The rise of the Service Design approach over the past decade has led to the need to enrich the educational offerings on the subject, to address both the evolution of the discipline and the increasing complexity of the design challenges with which design professionals are called upon to deal. To this end, the "Service Design and Innovation" cluster proposes three training experiences to offer participants a comprehensive specialization course dedicated to service design, designed to be completed within one year and to be composed as one chooses according to one's experience, current needs, and interests. - "Service Design Fundamentals": a first approach to service design; mindset, process, and the basic tools. - "Service Design for Systemic Change" - emerging issues, speculative design, system thinking, design for sustainability, and impact assessment. - "Evaluation methods for Service Design" - evaluation skills needed to guide design intervention and assess its impact.
