Ses Gwelax Consulting (SGC) is an Indigenous women owned business led by Michelle Myers, dedicated to empowering Indigenous governance and providing mentorship to Indigenous women in leadership roles. Located in Tŝilhqot'in territory, SGC offers remote and in person support as required and when needed. SGC specializes in providing tailored services to help execute the projects that mean the most to communities. Dedicated services include grant writing and reporting, Indigenous governance advisory, mentorship, capacity building and land-water based planning and engagement. All services offer flexibility to be uniquely tailored to your needs and location as required. The business aims to amplify Indigenous governance initiatives by offering tools and expertise for communities and Nations. SGC offers the following specialized services where quality of work is the highest priority so can be tailored to your needs as required through discussion: - Grant Writing and Reporting: Supporting communities with funding applications, reports, and budgeting. These services include high level and remote support that includes: writing, communications, updates, meetings, and reporting. - Project Management & Coordination: Planning, leading, and coordinating projects with cultural and strategic alignment. These services require more involvement for projects, and can be delivered remotely or in person when required. - Community Engagement Specialist: Oversight and advisory on community engagement plans, support in creating tailored community engagement approaches. In-person delivery and facilitation support are offered at a higher rate. - Governance & Lands Advisory: Supporting Indigenous governance, strategic planning, and land-based initiatives. Individual one-on-one mentorship. - These services can range in delivery based on the need, and require a lot of in person presence to amplify quality of work and ensure client satisfaction.
