Thanks to the ongoing support of our members, the SES Solar Co-op has played a significant role in the growing movement in Saskatchewan towards a renewable energy tipping point. In this sunny province, we have the greatest solar resource in the country, providing us with a world-class opportunity to build resilience into our energy infrastructure for ourselves and future generations. As the first renewable energy co-operative in Saskatchewan, we are led by a board of sustainable energy engineers, business leaders and community builders. We conduct stringent research on power production to ensure continued and improved quality and efficiency for our solar projects, and make data-driven decisions on behalf of our shareholders. Solar technology is now rivaling its non-renewable counterparts. By harnessing the potential of solar, our projects create a sustainable energy source, offset greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuel generated electricity, and provide a return on investment – all at the same time. At this time, we are faced with a truly visionary opportunity here in Saskatchewan: CNH Industrial has partnered with us for our largest installation to date. We are now selling shares for the installation of approximately 1200 solar panels which will contribute to the power needed on the CNH Industrial site on 71st street in Saskatoon. This follows our six successful installations at: The Two Twenty Coworking Space, Saskatoon Landfill Gas Generation Energy Project, Haskamp Street site, Radiance Cohousing for Renewable Rides, Wolf Willow Cohousing, and Ness Creek festival site.
