About Setetkwe Environmental
Setetkwe Environmental Incorporated (SEI) is an environmental consulting company based in the BC Interior. It is comprised of a partnership between RTL Environmental Ltd. and BWP Consulting Inc. (BWP), two companies with extensive environmental and pest control consulting experience throughout the province. The head office for SEI is located on the Simpcw First Nation and it is an aboriginal-owned enterprise. SEI offers a wide range of services including: • hydro seeding, • hand and mechanical seeding • vegetation restoration projects • environmental monitoring (water quality, benthic invertebrate surveys, and stream flow monitoring), • forestry vegetation control (broadcast herbicide), • industrial vegetation control, • invasive and noxious weed control, • weed washing, • mosquito control, • brushing, • mowing, • pruning, • snow plowing, • occupational health services (Registered Nurses & OFA Level 3 first aiders). With a base of operations within the North Thompson valley, we are well situated to deliver timely and flexible services throughout the Simpcwul’ecw Territory and other areas of British Columbia and Alberta. SEI is a new partnership formed with the vision of expanding our operations in the western provinces. Our partnering companies, RTL Environmental Inc and BWP Consulting Inc, have over 30 years of combined experience, and have a strong background in environmental monitoring, mosquito control and occupational health services. Through these services and our long-time residency in the BC Interior, we have formed a strong and varied network of contacts within the region. Moving forward, we aim to grow our capacity in hydro seeding, vegetation control and occupational health, as well as to expand our services to include, weed washing, brushing, pruning, mowing, and restoration projects. We can draw from our network of contacts and subcontractors to provide the manpower necessary to take on large, labor-intensive projects.
