About Setic & Pourtier

In 1860, Ernest Pourtier founded his company in Paris to meet the needs of a rapidly growing textile industry. He designed and sold custom rotating machines for his clients. Over time, the company evolved, innovated, and diversified, particularly by manufacturing machines for the telephone cable and later the energy cable industries. A few years later, in 1948, Setic was established in Roanne with the same philosophy and values of quality, performance, and innovation.
