It is the foremost green and sustainable marketplace for consumer-based products sold within both virtual and traditional storefronts. seven planet is building the brand to save the planet. To help get there the company is partnering with a finite set of what we call mindful suppliers. These are companies that build and create products that are working to be as green and sustainable as they can be and that also support the mission of mindful commerce. Mindful commerce is a way of thinking and consuming. It is the belief that one should only consume when they are in need of something and if they are in need of a product they will work to purchase the most mindful product available to them. seven planet is the lead brand and company with seven industry silos each with these sustainable early stage companies, known as mindful suppliers, within them. The current seven industry silos are defined as the industries in which the average individual spends the greatest amount of their income and where the CO2 footprint is the most significant. The current seven silos are as follows: apparel, energy, food, health, household, shelter and travel. seven planet places all the mindful suppliers’ products within the seven silos into one virtual and into multiple general stores. These early stage company suppliers have been in business between 3 and 10 years and are only within the seven planet silos for a time period of 2 to 4 years before a new company replaces them. In the end, seven planet works to provide locations and options for mindful commerce as we believe this is the key to building the brand to save the planet.
