Our Innovation Dr. Dolf Stockhausen laid the foundation for our success with the development of the so-called Stockhausen Method. Traditionally, the age of a single malt was considered its most important quality indicator, but Dr. Stockhausen realized that the maturation process itself is far more critical. This realization forms the basis of our unique approach, which accelerates the maturation process without compromising quality. One of the central challenges in whisky production is the scarcity of high-quality oak barrels. The growing demand for whisky and the limited availability of oak barrels not only strain product quality but also have environmental impacts. Instead of tying up barrels for decades during the maturation process, our method offers a sustainable alternative that optimizes the use of scarce resources. By shortening the maturation process, oak barrels can be reused more quickly, contributing to resource conservation and sustainable production. Through innovative, patented techniques, the transfer of aromas between wood and spirit is intensified, resulting in more refined and flavorful single malts. This process allows us to mature single malts faster and more efficiently, without losing the traditional character and complexity.
