About Sevengrams

Sevengrams is an all-female coffee roasting company founded in Milan in 2009 by the entrepreneurial initiative of Mary, Angelita, Anna, and Daniela Mauro, four sisters with a history steeped in coffee. In 2008, the family left the eponymous company founded by their grandfather, but their passion for this beverage pushed them to continue working in the sector with an entirely new project. Thus, Sevengrams was born, producing roasted coffee that combines excellence and innovative spirit. In addition to blends and single-origin coffees under the 7Gr. brand, which use commercial beans of the highest quality, the company produces fine specialty coffees under the Lot Zero brand, selected and artisanally roasted by Chiara Bergonzi, a partner of the team and a reference figure in the world of specialty coffee. In 2014, the first Coffee Studio 7Gr. opened, a store dedicated to coffee enthusiasts with a wide assortment of coffee-related products and accessories. Here, customers can learn to recognize the quality of coffee, the different preparation methods, the importance of accessories, and the right equipment, all in an environment that invites sharing and in-depth exploration. The Coffee Studio periodically hosts training courses for baristas and enthusiasts, cultural events, tastings, and much more. In 2019, the company opened the Roastery Lot Zero, adjacent to Coffee Studio 7Gr., dedicated to the artisanal roasting of specialty coffees. Visitors can enjoy a complete and immersive experience in the world of coffee, from green beans to cup extraction. Thanks to a completely atypical business model, the company has managed to develop a coherent, comprehensive, and advanced offering on coffee, which over the years has allowed it to build a solid reputation within the coffee community, where Sevengrams is considered one of the most dynamic companies in the sector, capable of developing highly distinctive bespoke projects.
