The company started working with the fast-evolving Aerospace Industry and in 1997 expanded further into this niche area in both design and manufacturing services, the company has grown steadily and nurtured a bank of design, engineering and support staff at its 4000m2 design and manufacturing facility in the village of Martock - Somerset Now recognised as one of the UK’s leading engineering solutions providers SFM offers any combination of engineering pre-design, prototyping, design and development, product enhancement and machining, right through to manufacture and assembly. Staff have been drawn together from a variety of industries, sectors and environments providing SFM Technology with the inbuilt flexibility to rise to virtually any challenge whilst to this day, staying true to the manufacture of its unique specialist fruit harvesting machinery. In July 2012 SFM Technology was proud to be awarded the Royal Warrant from Her Majesty The Queen.
