About SFU Business of Design Program
Launched in September 2016, The Business of Design (BoD) program is an interdisciplinary collaboration between the Beedie School of Business and the School of Interactive Arts and Technology to teach students on how to launch a sustainable design-led product or service. Centering on experiential learning, the program offers students to practice how design and business are interdependent through doing. BoD is taught and led by business and IAT professors, and is open to students from all faculties at SFU. The BoD program consists of 4 courses over 3 semesters; one in Fall, one in Spring, and two in Summer Intersession.
