Sidney Sparkman founded SGS Landscape Management while acting as the Director of Landscaping and Water Features at the Grand Wailea Resort Hotel and Spa in the mid 90's. With over 30 years of experience in the landscaping industry, he has developed a team of highly skilled landscaping professionals that have opened new resorts, rejuvenated existing resorts and have continued to manage grounds of resorts with acute attention to detail. We are a team of "Humble Gardeners" dedicated to a positive guest experience while managing the grounds of numerous resort brands on Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island including Andaz, Westin, Hyatt, Marriott, Montage, 1 Hotel, and Honua Kai, as well as independent resorts. We have an exclusive partnership with Avendra. SGS manages 14 resorts utilizing quiet landscaping practices...battery powered, zero emissions equipment that have minimal noise. SGS is striving to initiate the "stealth" program to all resorts under our care with an eye on going totally natural in terms of fertilization and pest/weed control as well as introducing "smart" water management practices.
